c20xe oil pressure release valve
not getting any oil pressure in my engine.
tried taking the oil pressure doodads out - took the cap off, out comes the spring but if the "plunger" type thing is in there then it
isnt coming out..
any possible solutions?

Unless its badly scored sometimes you can get away with giving the valve a good polish with some very fine wet & dry
Always check the valve housing inside the oil pump body though, becuase *if* thats scored your looking at a new pump

it is only lightly marked but I never want this to happen while pushing the engine towards 7000rpm so I'm keen to fit the nylon replacement.

Anyone got a link to the upgraded relief valve.My 2.0 8v same block as 16v takes a couple of seconds for the oil light to go out would this valve stop
this.
