Sequential Gear Stick?
where did the people not running paddle shifts get their sequential gear sticks from and are they even called sequential gear sticks

I did mine like this.
Bit of stainless rod with a thread on one end bent into a Z shape and mounted in a nylon pivot. Threaded a aluminium knob on the top.
Mine used to pull on a rod/crank arrangement, but now I have a cable and it is better.
The other option is paddle-shift, which has its advantages (quite neat, and racy looking) and disadvantages (not very compatible with steering lock,
or indicator stalks).

has anyone ever done the electronic shifter? we use them on the bikes for disabled etc
kliktronic
thats what I intend to do eventually whenI build a car, that way push button on the steering wheel
with the ignition cut circuitry you would have full throttle gear shifts just at the push of a button 
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

I have Kliktronic on mine, not on the road yet though. I also have a manual change,I think the lever moving and changing gear by itself may freak some
people out

I have used a set of Proshift paddles mounted to rotate with the steering wheel, this activates a Kliktronic actuator which will be connected to the
PC3 to achieve the flat shift kill....if I can get the engine started first though.....

I was just about to ask the same question!
I like the idea of paddle-shift, but I don't like it when both paddles are attached to a linked-rocker with the one bowden cable... i.e. I
don't like pulling one and the other moving away from me (and vice-versa). Anyone have any solutions to this before I consider
'stick' exclusively?
