Oh i like that as an idea.
Replace the hollow money driven cowel song with, nothing. I think its apt.

I do feel sory for folk these days though. I used to enjoy the christmas number one for some reason. Those days seem to gone, for at least a while.

"I love the bit where the trumpets don't come in," commented one fan, while another said: "Wanna use this as my ringtone."

Eventually this chaff will go away when he realises no-one's bothering to watch....

Hang on that's the key! Instead of f**king about with bookface and organising for 4 minutes of silence to run across the airwaves why not Just Stop Watching?

Is 4.33 sec worth of silence actaully a saleable item? I cant imagine he released a single on CD of it did he.

Rage for number one was legendary and actaully made a difference to my christmas because also most every time i got into the car to run some meaningless poo errand (dont we love christmas) it would get played (car is permanently tuned to radio1) and would make me smile inside.

This however, is pointlessness.

I thought it was quite funny that the song has the corus 'F' me I won't do what you tell me' which is exactly what everyone did, they just listened to a different dictator, that's why as far as I'm concerned Lady Gaga had last years Christmas number one.

I don't see the same thing happening two years in a row. Buy what you want, not what someone tells you to buy.
