Fitting LED rear lights

Now that i know i have to change my lights (should have checked about the triangular reflectors) iv been looking at LED ones like these but these would make the indicators flash really fast.

Am i right in thinking i can just fit an electronic relay and they will be fine?

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Yeah, the type that's on ebay called multi load or something, they look the best to me, if you swap a couple back to filament lamps later on it'll still run them.

It's about £15

EDIT: Dual Load, here:
[url=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DUAL-LOAD-LED-FLASHER-RELAY-3-PIN-L-E-D-FLASH-RATE-FIX-/180531818850?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2a0888f162]LINK[/u rl]

Might be cheaper elsewhere I haven't really looked.

EDIT 2: Don't know why that link doesn't look good - confusing

I've not got as far as wiring them yet Speedy, but I have a set of those and they are pretty nifty little things!

Fitted those lights to my nephews trike, they work well.
I have LED lights on my car and used a motorbike electronic flasher unit from Halfrauds works well and as said above if a bulb is put in the cct after then the flash rate stays the same.

Regards

Bob

Or

DIGITAL UNIVERSAL FLASHER RELAY AND INDICATOR BUZZER on eBay (end time 22-Dec-10 16:27:22 GMT)

Incorporates a buzzer to remind you of the indicators left on - wind noise and sun hide the clickety thing...
