Engine dimensions and BHP

Does anyone know of a list of engine dimensions anywhere? The only list I could find was very old.

If not, could we create one?

There is a thread on the PPC forum and this question was mentioned there.

I think we could al make a very comprehensive list if we just added our own stuff to it.

Any thoughts ?

By that time, who cares.

You're a mile away, and you've got his shoes

Ah nicely done. I've been rummaging around for a while looking for this information, and it's been right there under my nose all along!

I don't think all the weights are that accurate.

What I don't understand is how an engine which is over 70cm tall fits into a car that... isnt :S.

Ah fair enough, but then you can't really have all that much sticking out underneath without having grounding issues.

I guess you need to see 1 to appreceate where it all goes.

Worth mentioning that the duratec engines in it's various sizes don't appear to be much different in size. The same with the Mazda equivilant K family of engine. The 1.8, 2, and 2.5l V6 are all the same size more or less.
