Thank you Logitech

Well my G25 PS3 wheel broke out of warranty. E-mailed Logitech to see if I could get it repaired and they said no but they'd give me 50% discount on a brand new G27. Took them up on the offer and sold the old wheel on Ebay for spares. Made £5 more than the new wheel cost me so treated myself to a WheelStand Pro to put it on. Absolutely fantastic.

All I have to do now is wait for GT5 to come out (Amazon says 25th Nov) so that I can drive the Top Gear test track. Only problem is I won't want to go in the garage to work on the real car!

are you planning on wearing race booties, suit and helmet too?

I used a steering wheel and pedals about 12 years ago on a playstation, are they better now?

I shall avoid wearing the full race gear. The kids think I'm sad enough already. The latest wheels are very good. Loads of force feedback and very lifelike quality.

Good value if you ask me.

2yr warranty so if it breaks, you get a new one

The chassis and seat is £300.

It all depends on what you want. I wanted something right from the get go and that worked absolutely. Low and behold, it's what I have. Otherwise, you'd just get annoyed at the niggles.

All IMHO of course

It's true I have a wheel and don't use it because you turn it and nothing nothing nothing full lock. Makes me look like one of those drunk drivers you see on tv

Mmmmm need one of these for GT5 and PC games.

Logitech are renowned for superb customer service. It's the same with their mice and anything else.
