Questions in the title, i the 750 MC Locost front wheel drive or rear wheel drive?

As a rule all lotus 7-esque cars are RWD (though I know of at least one which is AWD).
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.

What in incredibly odd question? Have you ever seen a lotus 7 inspired car? The idea of trying to fit a transverse engine and gearbox under that
nose cone is a daft one!

...maybe could fit an inline VW/Audi engine driving the front wheels, rather than transverse? It would be worth it if only so the rest of us can see
the amount of metal hanging out in front of the front axle

Some guy on Haynes has tried to make a 4wd Transverse engine setup (Out of a mondeo). I think the project stalled last May when he realised what its
going to look like. Its quite a monster, but worth a read.
