jetting bike carbs

hi im planning on using a 1.6 cvh engine and have been advised bike carbs with 36mm jets. does that mean i have to find out what carbs are 36mm or could i get any smaller than 36mm and drill them out?

or have i misunderstood?

thanks

Think you need to do a bit of research
the 36mm is the chokes
the jets will want to be about 1.5mm

Have a look at 600/700cc bikes. e.g. CBR600, gsxr6 etc...
