transit mt75 gear box 1300 duratec
well i have decieded that the fiesta i have sat out side with no mot will make a cheap doner for my project.
it is a 1998 1.3
what i am looking to find out is if the ford transit mt75 box will fit it and if not, what will??

No replies yet....I'll start then.
Your engine isn't a Duratec, 1998 will be pre Zetec too, probably an Endura unit as fitted to KA's etc.
That engine is based on the good old Crossflow but doesn't share many parts so tuning isn't simple.
The good news is the MT75 shares the same bellhousing bolt pattern but I'm not sure what clutch you need.
Well that's where my 'expertise' ends, hopefully someone else may be along shortly....good luck with your project.

i realised about the engine after i had postage but thank you very much, clutch ill figure something out in work, will get a few in stock and see
what fits where etc, just wanted to make sure i was looking for the right box.
thank you very much and hope to see a few of you at the show weekend
