DOHC I4 to live axle

Hi I have a DOHC out of a sierra and want to use it on a live axle car I also have the mt75 gearbox can this gearbox be used with a live axle or should I use a type 9 gearbox. If I need to use the type9 what do I have to do to fit it to the DOHC has anyone done this and could give me some advice. If I can use the mt75 what kind of prop shaft do I need and any advice would be most helpful. Regards Arthur.

yep mt75 to live axle is no problem. You need a sliding section in the prop. You can buy an of the shelf adapter for the three prong flange to uj. Mine was from Dunning and Fairbank Ltd or other firms do there own thing.

Just tell them distance from flange to flange. What flanges you have. Tell him you need it to slide and pay your money. Mine was on the door steps a few days later.
