Power Commander... how do i retreive a map

How do i get a map from the Power Commander to my laptop?

Had a power commander fitted and a rolling road session but on the way home the car seemed to be bogged down and spluttering below 2,500rpm. I need to see what the map looks like, get it tweeked enough for me to get back to the RR centre.

I have installed the Power Commander software and managed to get the Power Commande to talk to my laptop (i know this as its displaying my tick over revs).

But i cant get it to retrieve the map from my Power Commander

Once you're linked to the PC click "get map" and it should show the loaded map (from memory).

Is it showing revs and throttle position. If not it's not linked up. You need to start up again and get the link.

Its showing rpm and IIRC a couple of other values.

Options on the PC Control Center are;-
File Tab; Load Map File or Save Map File
Utilites Tab; Upload All or Get All

or

On a "Load File" button

You should have a "tree" displayed in the LH window, click the bottom item (sorry can't remember the name & don't have Power Commander on this pc) & it should display the current map in the large RH window

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Neither what you describe or Russbost's sound like my PC softwear. Which PC is it?
