Catch tank.... how much does your vent?

Have now fitted an oil catch tank to the R1 with a small K&N type filter vented to atmosphere (as you would normally).

During engine warm up today and system check over (10-15mins of ideling), i noticed the air filter venting.

No oil in the oil catch tank but definate venting.
Oil level in sump has not gone down.
Water level has not changed.

Any idea's, I suppose when driving i wont see this venting.... am I just being causious?

How much do yours vent?

it will always vent as it releases crankcase pressure, I would worry if it pumps oil out

Done a lot of running just in the workshop by any chance? They get a lot of condensation build up doing that and will vent it as steam. Mine puts a small amount of water in the bottle doing that and short runs. Nothing appears there on hard use.
