Type 9 gear change or not

Hi all,

Having problems with gear shifter, when i go from 2nd to 3rd or 2nd to 1st the fork (on end of gearstick) seems to slip of the back of the selector. I've removed the 3 bolts which hold the gearstick in place and loked at the fork, it seems to of had some previous mods to it, you can see where it's been welded up and ground done. Could it just be the fork thats worn or has something else gone wrong. I'm not really sure if something is broken or missing, never had to remove the gearstick before, any advice greatly appreciated

cheers Sandy

There should also be a plastic saddle which the selector forks locate into.

Cheers,

B
