what diff
Hi All
i ran my mk indy r in its first sprint on saturday, everything ran sweet no problems, but i need to put an LSD sierra diff in it as i was losing so
much time off the line, the cars running a 2008 r1 motor, what is the best ratio ? not quite sure whats in it at the moment but down the quarter its
using 5th gear, only finished the car friday night so i was very pleased with the result and no mechanical probs, 13.48 sec seams a good time to say
iy was spinning one wheel for so long.
you help would be appreciated.

The Sierra viscous diff is found in 3.6 and 3.9 may be a bit feeble if you are competing but is very cheap, you can swap crown wheel and pinion to get
any ratio, the next step up on price is a Quaife atb or a plate diff with the ramps setup for your particular type of competition use.
