Possible or likely?

.............but, if it's old and you can get the visible smoke and noise down it's not beyond the bounds of madness

Edited now the question is read properly! It would bepend on the car.
There are two stroke cars..., but no modern ones

I would guess it depends on the age of the engine.

ok late 80s. shame i was hoping to use mid 90s but hey the first choice was originaly late 80s
the other problem i have is the engine numbers as theres two ( originaly 2 seperate engines) wonder if i could use just the one and change the cc.

yeh cool, i have an inline 4, 700cc 196bhp yamaha ypvs which should sound real awsome. although i havnt run the engine since about 1992 but should be fine. although it was only doing around 15mpg at the time arghhh if memory serves me correctly it only weighs around 50 kg, (asuming its still in my parents loft where i left it back in the early 90s that is).
its funny realy as 2 stroke engines, although are smokey they are cleaner than 4 stroke in that they run alot cooler and dont produce the noxiouse crap that comes out of an avarage car. but then i supose firing twice as often kinda negates this really.

so if im reading the linky correctly 2 stroke engines dont need an emitions test? wow how cool is that, (cough) i am concerned about the enviroment - honestly i am. it also states that an engine wont be tested at a lower level than when the engine was new (logical i supose). so i supose if an engine would not have passed in the first place then it cant fail now either.
