R1 5VY clocks KPH to MPH

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to change the clocks from KPH to MPH?

I think you hold the select button in for a few seconds but can't remember the exact procedure.

Cheers
Stu.

Yes, just hold the select button in for a few seconds with ignition on. Not all clocks do it though, depends on what market the bike was made for. Think it's US clocks that don't switch.

I have US Engine/Loom/Clocks. The display is in Mph, and temps are in degrees F. There is no way to change the clocks to degrees C, as there isnt the character on the lcd panel

It is just hold Select buton for more than 1 second

Hello Jon,

No mate not related to the MNR.
Would like my old car back but it is for sale on Piston heads for £13k and now on a 60 plate...........

A mate of mine has an R1 track bike and the speedo is currently set to KPH, couldn't remember how to set it to MPH.

How's the engine transplant coming on?? and have you managed to get out much on that ZX6R of yours?

hey Stu,

How does the 60 plate work then did he rebuild the car and re register it!?

Engine transplant went really well, lot more work than expected but well worth it, pulls like a train without having to be up at 9k all the time.

managed to get out on the bike last night ( but i've been neglecting it a little and it's amazing when you've not been on the bike for a few weeks how rusty you get) with a few others we went down to Alton at the station cafe well know biker meet up.

Are you guys gona do the brigthon burn up from the Ace?
