Luego X Flow Locost for Sale. £3500ovno.
Luego book chassis with full cage and the extra bracing as allowed in the 750MC regs. I also have an unfitted side intrusion bar.
Ford X flow engine running on Yamaha R6 carbs fitted to a Bogg Brothers inlet manifold, Megajolt ignition and 4 into 1 race manifold and silencer.
5 speed Type 9 gear box, new clutch (cable operated).
The rear axle is from the Escort Mk1 donor but has been fitted with a 4.11 diff.
When the locating brackets were welded on the axle tube was “tweaked” to improve rear wheel and nose angles.
4 X Gaz adjustable shocks fitted with the correct rate springs.
Brakes were all new. Std Escort rear drums and Cortina discs on the front Mintex 1144 pads and Goodridge braided hoses. Twin master cylinders and
balance bar pedal box.
Professionally made alloy fuel tank, Facett pump and Filter King regulator.
Cobra bucket seats and Luke harnesses.
Quick release “D” steering wheel
Carbon dash & VDO instruments.
RS/Laser alloys with good condition Yokohama 008 tyres.
The car is fantastic fun to drive and has been totally reliable since it was built but there are a couple of things I'd like to point out. The
gearbox leaks oil from the ft seal, both the speedo and water temp gauges read incorrectly and the odometer doesn’t change.
When I built this car I wanted a car that looked like it was built years ago hence I haven’t had it painted or polished and it looks as if it has been
around for a while.
It was correctly SVA’d and registered with a 1971 “J” registration no. in Feb. ’09.
