what to do this weekend
need an outing/activity for monday, to satisfy the misses, f1 on sunday, and weather looks to be drier monday. fancy a trip to the seaside, but
don't fancy getting stuck in bank holiday traffic. wondered if there were any little gems on the welsh coast, and any roads that wouldn't
be totally rammed. otherwise any other suggestions welcome.
cheers,
Ed

Roads in Wales being 'rammed'?
Ewe did that on purpose didn't you.
They will be rammed anyway, people flock to the coast on a bank holiday.

Easy,.. pick somewhere that has a fantastic view at Sunrise,... get there watch the sun rise, have a bacon butty at a near by hostelry and then drive
home as everyone is still in bed! Great empty roads, and no rams in sight!
That's what I'd do, doubly so in the kit,...

sounds wicked, but perhaps i'll have to wait for the kit to be road worthy, plus the better half is grumpy at 9am let alone 3 or 4...

So i'm looking for a beach, a pub and perhaps something to walk round...

Hi,
If you drive to Shrewsbury and then head for Welshpool, you can pick up a quiet road to Lake Vernwy, from there across the mountain to Bala and on the
road to Llanuwchllyn you will see a road heading for Trawsfynydd from here you can head for any of the sites on the West Wales coast and you should
have no problems with traffic on your return journey if you retrace your route.
Regards
Bob

MrWibble - take the cross country route across Wales, to the North/west coast... You can take in the roads of Snowdonia, and grab a peak if you feel
energetic... Head to a beach, and then if you feel brave, take another cross country route back, if not, take the motorway...
