long shot but looking for a big plane 7 or 8

Hi all,
bit of a long shot this but have been let down by a seller.
I'm looking for a number 7 or 8 hand plane. Something older like a record or similar. Not a new silverline jobbie.
Anyone got one lying around they dont want?
Looking to buy.
Cheers,
Cam.

I like the long shot pun
I think I still have a record shooting plane at my old workshop but I won't be able to go see till next week.
Are you in a hurry?
Denis (ex joiner)

How did i know there would be pics of 'big planes'

Denis,
if it was ready to use the latest I could get it would be Thursday. If it needed any reconditioning the sooner the better.
