Hayabusa gen 2 crankshaft in gen 1 engine?

Hi
Has anyone on here with a gen 1 (99-07) Busa engine put the later (08+) crank in?? If so what did you gain from it?? I see alot of people from the states do it in their bikes but not heard of many doing it here.

Thanks

I considers it but didn't have the money at the time according to those in the know it does increase capacity slightly and this increase power can't remember by how much. I think but I may be wrong that you need to fit a spacer as well think it's between the piston barrels and the bottom crank section. Have an ask of Damien at daytuner or Andy at a b they will know better than me.
