Are you surprised?

Always goes where the money is.

DC is rubbish, so is Eddie Jordan.

I do like the bbcf1 format, including the way Brundle could muscle into the cars/press/drivers on the grid, his presenting is good but he can be replaced...

Not sure who with, but for me the anchor presenters are JH,DC , EJ is an acquired taste - I like his little man style in the pits with the teams, who clearly like him.

Greenies win....

I'm so annoyed by the whole move to SKY! I'm luckily enough to have sky... But I enjoy watching the BBC team (Jake DC EJ) in my opinion the build up to races and qualifying is fantastic funny and some of the features are great! I'm stuck to the sofa every race...

He said he needed to commentate on every race, so I for one dont blame him for doing it. The good thing is if you don't lime or want sky sports package. It's available to all sky subscribers who pay the £10 per month HD package

If I'm being honest, I'm not fussed.

If I can paraphrase something I heard in the 80s, I'd rather watch a wet 15 lapper at a clubbie circuit than endure a whole F1 race on the telly.

The opening handfull of laps are fine, but after that, it can get a bit dull until the end again.
Give me a mixed bag with 15 laps and you have to live or die within those laps and I'm much more likely to be interested.

Or a hillclimb top 12 runoff.

Sorry, but there you go.

No fussed.

Love the technology, qualifying, opening laps, closing laps. Other then that, you can keep it.

I'm off to watch some 1960-70s F1 on ESPN Classic if you don't mind.

It's hard to beat a run off with the top hill climb boys these days. I reckon the guy with the twim bike engine derived oms will challenge the goulds next year for top spot in the brittish hill climb. Scott moran will once again be had to Beat

I wish JH would go to Sky, he's a condesending p***k! Needs to show some respect for people, he's often belittled people who deserve much better.

Just my view you understand

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

Yeah, bring on proper racing like Thunder saloons, vintage and Locost stuff. Problem is it aint main stream, personality based crap.

What's wrong with JH? I think BBC's F1 coverage is fantastic. And I as a sports fan/ motor racing fan, I will be watching the 2012 season with great interest

Trevor has got the reliability sorted now, but Wallace Menzies and Tom New are also battling in a similar position. At the end of the day Scott has all the car and all the driver all the time. The only combination that could give him a run for his money on the consistency front was grovesy and the GR55. Will be interesting to see Paul Haimes out in the GR59, oh and dont forget the GWRs of Lee Adams and (next season) Jos Goodyear, and Alex Summers is pretty handy in that DJ especially in the wet.

Now you mention it, hillclimbing is pretty exciting

My understanding is that it was the BBC who wanted to give away the entire coverage to save money.

Wallace got ftd at Barbon In 2010, but unfortunately didn't count as Tarmac was not to standard.
Wallace is also selling his westy turbo busa on wscc

Shame about MB, he was (is) an incisive interviewer with a thick skin who isn't afraid to 'doorstep' the drivers. He has the credibility too.
EJs manner whenever Bernie E is around is positively vomit-inducing. To use Rich's quote to Neil from 'The Young Ones,' when he was showing undue deference to his bank manager: "That's so crawly-bum-lick. You might as well as go and stick your tongue straight down the back of his trousers Neil."

Deffinetly dissapointing that Brunndles going...but you can't blaim him.

And when I started watching Formula 1 it was mostly highlights, or if live, the Great Fluffy Squarker wasn't even alowed by the BBC to go to the race, and was comentating from a small dark box in the bowels of the BBC.

It was good enough for me then, so it's good enough for me next year.
