just got this ac dc tig any good ?
hi i have just got this and i dont know a lot about this kind of welder so i turn to the locost massive lol is it any good ? cheers paul welderman

It's got loads of buttons, knobs and stuff - so it must be amazing!

Have often wondered if i should move with the times and trade my old fridge sized tig in for
a sexy new inverter thingy!

I can tell you that it was probably made by Greenbird in China. My 180amp AC one of their's was.

If it works it'll be fine That might sound like an obvious statement but half the problem with the chinese welders is quality control, some
work some dont, some fail quickly, some last years.....
As I've said in many other posts I use a GIANT which is the same as the WSE200's etc and probably this Cobel too. Its worked well for over
2 years and welded 100'ish aluminium manifolds at 170-200A. Others have bought WSE's and they havent worked from day 1.
