I don't think it would hold boost, presumably its a cold air feed that will also reduce the noise (with bike gsxr itb's).

that top panel is crying out for secondary injectors.

Why would it not hold boost?

The flat panel in the top would flex and bow, eventually it would fracture from work hardening.
Even a little boost say 7psi would be a substantial force over that 14x10inch lid (~1000lbs).

Also those gsxr type inlet trumpets blow off, so when people turbo then they generally hold the airbox on with a brace.

It does look like a nice airbox.

Did you have the Busa airbox on before Jon? That looks spot on but I thought it was gong to be a cooker hood

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Tim, Bryn at allyfab, absolute top bloke.

Pete, no I had one of those plastic piper cross air boxes fitted, quiet but very restrictive more so towards the rear, the seams split on it twice also as it flexed on full power, the engine tried to eat it, crap to be honest if anyone is thinking of buying one don't, there pants.

In my photo gallery under MAC1 works you can see my old air box.

i have since been informed that the OP air box and MAC1 come from the same place!!
