luego viento track rod ends

Hi,

I am working on the steering of my Luego Viento V8 and would like to know the following.

The rack is a brand new (metric) Mk2 Escort rack, I am using steering rack extensions purchased from Rally Design, the front uprights are Cosworth Sierra 2wd, which track rod ends should I use??

I have purchased a pair of RS2000 TRE thinking they might be stronger than standard Escort and the Morse taper seems to fit the taper in the arm of the upright but until I investigate further I cannot be absolutely sure

Anyone have any thoughts or answers please

Alex

The Mk2 RS 2000 track rod end was hybrid metric and imperial it used a metric threads but the taper was imperial, this is because the RS Escorts & Lotus Cortinas used struts that were hand downs originally from The Ford Corsair 2000e.

You can either use normal Cortina 3 to 5/Escort 2 parts or base model Sierra parts.
