Lambda sensor and Gauge

In an attempt to set up the bike carbs and with fuel injection in mind for the future, I am contemplating fitting a Lambda sensor and gauge
What lambda and gauge should I look for?
As I am going to the US of A later this year are there any recommendations of what and where from over there?
I will be around Boston & Laconia

Still want to hear about UK options aswell Ta

I've just got this one

AEM Wideband AFR Lambda UEGO Gauge - Complete kit | eBay

It was the cheapest I found all in, sensor, gauge, controller. It even comes with the boss for the sensor! It seemed to get good reviews from people on here, but I haven't fitted it yet. I don't know about what you could get from the US though- sorry

That looks good value, if you are planning on going with injection you really want one with a 0 - 5v output so you can piggy back on the cars ECU.

I note that the one above has an RS232 output so you could log stuff but it would not communicate with an EFI system so you could not run closed loop.

Its not then end of the world, on a rolling road they use a seperate lambda sensor.

Regards Mark

I'm impressed, I'm sure I paid that much for a standard narrowband sensor for my tin top!

I think this one has a 0-5V output, and does some logging too!

It does have a 0-5v output, spanning 10-20 AFR. That's the reason I got it, it's going to be plumbed into a microsquirt ECU with closed loop when I get around to it!

I use an Innovate LC-1 onto my Megajolt for tuning the engine. Works a treat. You can see all the engine inputs and log it, then review and make suitable changes. Just a dash mounted gauge isn't as helpful because your not sure what the ignition and throttle is doing at the same time. You can guess, but not 100%.
