Help, what gearbox?
Hi all,
got a rover V8 with 5 speed gear box that i don't want so it's going on the bay in a couple weeks but it would help if i knew what the
gear box is, sherpa or an SD1 jobbie, here's a piccie, any idea's guys?

LT77 as fitted to Sherpas and SD1 and numerous others!

It's an LT77 - almost certainly not Sherpa as the remote linkage housing is too long. SD1 is most likely. What are the ID numbers?

But the gear linkage gubbins can be swapped so the box could still be Sherpa, Landrover, SD1, TR7/8 etc.....

wouldn't even know where to look for ID numbers?
