Rossi's had a few rough years, but this video reminded me of his great times...

We should never forget The Doctor.

As a very BIG Rossi fan it was one of those moments when we thought it was all over, Lorenzo covered the line into the last tight left and then Rossi pulls a pass where no one has done before. We were shouting at the telly.

He WILL fix the Ducati.....

It's such a shame he's going to go out whining.

Having spent a fortune trying to make the Ducati like the Yamaha and failed it's not looking like the partnership it promised to be.

Such a great talent he should have quit when Lorenzo took the title.

I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.

Typical armchair "expert" asshole analyses

Rossi has discarded more talent in his toe-nail clippings than most are ever likely to have.

Some people can never handle the truth and always try to shoot the messenger instead of taking an honest look in the mirror (its always easier to blame another than to face reality), but secretly they wish they could grow a pair and be the messenger !!!

I think the next superstars are likely to be Marc Márquez and Maverick Viñales, which are pretty obvious and the other possible candidate is Romano Fenati. Simoncelli was wild and fast but was never going to be brillant in a "Rossi" manner.

I think the fact his bike was not a full works bike meant be had to be wild and push it to compete.
