bec diff ratio

hi guys what diff ratio should I use for my blade engine? any help would be good its a mk2 escort rear axle

3.54 would be my ratio of choice for a BEC... If you do a search, there is a gear calculator spreadsheet that lets you work out the speed in each gear with any given wheel/tyre/axle combo...

Standard 893- 919 blade will hit max revs ~13,000 at max speed ~125mph with a 3.65 diff running 185/60/13 tyres

A lower ratio would be better for the road.

For live axle the 3:5.4 is perfect for the blade

3.54 the only diff to use max speed will be 120 ish dependent of tyre size
