Tiger Avon road/race car

Our much beloved Avon is now for sale as we're moving in to the classic racing world with an MGB:

£7,250 ONO

Originally part built by Tiger then completed by us in 2008 and SVA'd. We ran a season of track days and sprints, then converted her for racing. She ran in the Tiger series and CSCC Magnificent Sevens, winning the class last season.

Spec:

2 litre Zetec Blacktop engine, about 2 years old - oil change every other track session with top quality oil - bought as a brand new engine, not a rebuild
Weber 45 DCOE carbs and Webcon ignition - 170hp when set up by Rawles Motorsport
TranX straight cut gearbox with long 1st
Raceline sump
Tiger alloy radiator and Pacet fan
Custom Chrome repackable silencer
15" alloy wheels on nearly new Yokohama A048 tyres
Catch tank
Filter King regulator and Facet fuel pump
Larger capacity fuel tank with swirl pot, ready for injection conversion
HiSpec front brakes and Yellow Stuff pads
Front and rear adjustable anti roll bars
Camber adjustable front suspension, custom made
JK Composites race seat and 5 point harness new this year
Full roll cage with removable front half
Transponder fitted
Extinguisher and rain light
Aeroscreen
Dominator headlights
Long MOT

Included but not fitted:
2 Odyssey road seats and passenger 4 point harness
Full carpet set
Heated windscreen and wipers
4 15" Team Dynamics alloys with Avon CR500s (used as our wet set)

Spares including bonnet, wings, silencer and miscellaneous trim included.

ALSO option to purchase a regularly serviced BJ Clubman trailer for use with the car - for £800 extra.

Ready for the rest of the summer, and ready to race.

Bad points:
It's a race car so the bodywork is a little tired and has had the odd ding but it's sound and looks fine. Chassis has been repaired by Tiger, but by being cut back to original joins and re-welded so is just as strong and square as it was meant to be.

We are only selling as we want to try classic racing and have acquired an MGB. This is a great car to learn track driving in - it's stable and adjustable on the limit! It could also be used as the basis for a great Tiger GTA conversion.
