Ex gf is a hero
So i get a text from my ex girlfriend (we broke up just over a month ago), she went to one of her mum's charity events (is a trustee of the
peace hospice) and entered a competition thing. It involved paying either £20 or £50 and you pick an envelop from a corresponding tree.
She went for the £50 one and walked away with a track day voucher, now she isnt really a hardcore driver so text me and asked if i wanted it. Shock
horror my answer was hell yes 
When i asked her what track day it was she said she wasnt sure but it had a big p on the front and she said id spoken about it before. . . . .i got
excited but didnt want to go ott until she checked.
Yup i was right - it is a voucher for a full days racing at the Palmersport centre at Bedford Autodrome!
Worth £946!!!!!
Literally cannot wait until i can go on this! Roll on next spring!
Anyone on here done it before? A couple of my friends have and they say it is one of the best driving day packages you can buy.

Haha she is a good girl just isn't that easy unfortunately.
If she had a choice we wouldn't have broken up but I need time to clear my head, sort my life out and make sure the decisions I've made
are right.
Couldn't do that together.
Only problem is now I'm going to spend months thinking only about this track day! Ha

There was a lot that wasn't right between us and she is very obsessive which can lead to problems.
There is a huge probability we will get back together I just don't want to jump in to it two feet first, I want to make sure it's right!

Oh it is totally her way of keeping in contact, she is regularly texting me, my friends and family to ensure that happens lol.
There is no doubt about it ha.
We are still keeping our other gatherings etc that we booked a long time ago as a couple so we are still in good spirits with each other etc.
I just try as hard as I can not to be an arse when he wants cuddles and kisses etc which I feel is wrong if I do it etc. anyway we digress :p lol

Complicated life you lead there. Dont let her gift cloud the situation and get her something worth £50 to repay. Make sare it dont lead her on.
I know sombody Thats has done that day. You get to drive some very fast cars.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

I'm already trying to think of something that I can get her for it.
It is not an easy situation to be in, I feel a bit selfish but I can't turn down this opportunity as ill never spend the money on it myself.
I'm going to drive up in the GT1 and see if I can blag some free instructor time at the end in it :p haha. All about networking

Yeah i didnt make any mistakes like that luckily, not that id have to her family arent exactly short of money.
I cant say i was hard done by in the relationship at all, in fact it was hard trying to keep up with things to get her!

LOL HaHa. enjoy palmersport. My best man got an invite through his work.He is in no way a petrol head but said the day was awesome.
