Don't know where you would source the channel to DIY, but - this is where I got mine. Be careful that the glass has the correct specification
and markings if you are planning to IVA. Plenty Pics in my archive of assembling it.

I can give you the size of the aluminium chanel which you should be able to source from your local non-ferrous metal stockholder. However, you will
need to make up a special mandrel for bending it. I believe you can buy channel with a lower T slot for inserting a rubber seal. I doubt whether your
local stockist would keep that profile but it is available.
