Knock detection

Has anybody fitted one of these, ebay no 300836075083 sorry dont know how to put linky on. Thinking of fitting one for piece of mind as i run quite alot of boost. Thanks Kev.

Don't have any experience with them, I wonder how they are meant to be calibrated.

If it has been developed with Extra EFI, then i would speak to them and see if its true, or even if its compatible with megasquirt.

I spoke to Northampton Motorsports about it as my motor came with one attached. They reckoned it wasnt worth using as it would cost ££££££££££££££££££££££££££ to get it working correctly.

However I would try it if your using high boost.

Knock detection is not simple
The big manufactures spend a lot I of money on specific engines so aftermarket solutions will only ever be a compramise
Perhaps decent mapping on a rolling road would achieve what you want
