I think they are the codes on the oe ford ecu. I'm running a pats ecu on 2.0 blacktop and the code is owls

Maybe a tad more info from the op.!!

Yep the codes of the 2L silvertop zetec ecu's that have no immobilizer.

Blob would be a 1.8 amongst others.

They hold there dosh these days as the banger racers have been using them instead of the esc moduals.

With 97> ecu's you gain obd2 functions and save cash aswell as having a good immobilizer
