MKE Midi pass first time today

Hi all, thanks to all of you on here that have helped me over the three years I have been building the Midi, specially Martin Keenan and Dazz. First time pass today at Nottingham. Can't thank Mark from Mac1 enough, spent this morning with him sorting the emissions and a few other minor details out then he came to test with us, wouldn't have passed without him. Martin the test guy was spot on explaining what he was checking and what minor adjustments we needed to do. What I thought was going to be a stressful experience turned out to be really good.

Then went down the road to DVLA gave them the paperwork and payment and the very kind lady said the tax will be in the post in the next few day's, can't believe they are closing all the DVLA offices, notts closes in December.

Cheers all
Dave

PS make sure your vin plate doesn't have too much info on they are failing now for it and Mark changed mine or it would have failed.

Sorry I missed the follow up to your emissions thread. How did you get on with them?

I went up to Mark at Mac1 and he sorted them out in ten mins, he was really good and came down to the test with me and made some minor adjustments during the test and bingo we got a pass. Just waiting for registration now.

I tested it at Cadwell, it was me who put it in the armco!!!! it was a bit lively on the back end though as there was a problem with the diff. First drive in mine tonight was crack on, front end needs sorting with some softer springs though as it has a mind of its own.
