Pace product stage 3 dry sump oil pump priming

I am at the stage in my rebuild where am about to fill the engine with oil. Its a blacktop zetec 2.0 wit pace dry sump on it. I drained all the oil when I started a rebuild. Can anyone in the know please tell me how to fill her up with oil and prime the system.

fill dry sump tank about 2/3 full, remove belt from dry sump pump then turn the dry sump pump pulley by hand or slowly with a cordless drill the same direction as the engine would drive the pump as if it was running.

You will feel some resistance start to build one oil has made its way round the whole system, the pulley will slowly start to turn back the other way.

I do mine by hand and you can get around 1.5 bar of pressure registering on the gauge.

refit belt, check oil level in tank once running
