Shorter shocks

My Fury has the Chapman rear strut setup and uses mk2 golf front struts at the rear.
Basically they are too long to allow the car to sit low enough and have enough travel left to be much use.

I was wondering if anyone had come across this problem before (I can't be the only chapman strut fury out there) and whether there was a shorter shock solution to solve my problem.

Any help greatly appreciated.
