Front suspention upgrade

hi im thinking of upgrading the front suspention of a cortina based kit .?

im thinking i can remove the coil and damper and fit gas adjustable shocks like GAZ type but suspect i might need to reinforce the front lower and uper arms.? could do with some been there done that advice from people cheers for any assasistance recived..

Does it use the full Cortina front setup? It shouldn't need any reinforcing if you are just replacing the separate coil and damper with a combined unit. The load in a kit will be less than it was originally taking unless you have done something drastic to increase the weight of your car.

iohh.. right .. seen quite a few examples of my kit non have the coils removed thought people just couldnt.. because they wernt strong enough.. hmm will have to keep investigating tis.. any help any one else.
