Threshold / Side Panel Trim

I need to put a top edge on my side panels as I think they'll fail the radius test at an IVA.

My IVA is (hopefully) in a few weeks so I need to sort something out asap; whether it can 'fall off' after the IVA is another matter. Cheapest and easiest option is pipe lagging but that will look truly awful and probably wouldn't go down too well with the tester.

What have other people used? I've seen all variety of edgings but little information about where they're from or how they're made.

Thanks in advance

I used aluminium hockey stick section edge strip - http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1039-cope-moulding.aspx . It has not fallen off my car as it has the advantage of preventing chips and scrapes to the panel from feet getting in and out.

Note that the IVA manual specifically excludes the use of pipe lagging, so it would definitely be a fail if you used that (unless the tester has not read the manual).
