Clutch

I have a 5VY R1 in my Fury. I was tried to launch the car quickly on saturday, but ended up with a slipping clutch for my troubles.

I have uprated (Barnett) springs fitted.

I am going to replace the clutch fibres, as it only slipped for a little bit before i turned it off and left it.

Has anyone used clutch fibres from Wemoto?

They are advertised as OEM quality replacements. And they are half the price of the Yamaha main dealer.

Cheers

Don't know about those in particular but general recommendation is to use genuine plates rather than Barnett or ECB.

They're bound to claim OE quality; "Our clutches are cheap but crap" probably wouldn't help sales. I guess there's only one way to find out.
