What kind of harnesses?

Hi guys,

I'm wanting to buy some harnesses for my westfield, now I've heard a few people say that they've failed IVA because they were hard to adjust, which kind do I need suitable for upcoming IVA, I would prefer aircraft style and also approved for racing. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Dean

I used Securon type B passed IVA easily, the
examiner liked the fact they are very easy to adjust, simply pull the strap up to tighten

I got two securon type D harnesses new from eBay for £62.50. Lap strap as type is pull towards you to ideal for a kit.

Eta from this eBay seller. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/automotive_parts_warehouse?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:GB:1181

Had to put in best offer and that was what they accepted.

Prima Motorsport did a lot of work with VOSA, to ensure that FIA approval was an IVA pass
get ones that are FIA approved and you can't go far wrong.

the ease of adjustment thing could cause an issue i guess, if you have to pull the straps down for example, but the transmission tunnel is in the way for example, like mine is...

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

They have just made some belts for me, modified to suit my Striker perfectly. All at the same price as a standard 4 point kit car harness. Very fast service, great to deal with 100% recomended
