How do i calculate gearbox ratio's?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to setup my Race-technology Dash2 to show the gear selection.

It asks for all of the gearbox ratio's and final drive - which is fine i understand that.

However a motorbike has a primary reduction ratio - which is something i'm assuming i don't need for propshaft driven car...?

Do i need to calculate the ratio's to suit? Or simply enter them as stated by suzuki?

Appreciate any help!

C.

I would assume you need to take it in to account. Th primary drive for a bike engine is engine to gearbox, the final drive on a bike is gearbox to wheel (via chain etc) so doesnt need to take in to account.
