difference cylinder head 1.8-2.0 black top
In my search for a cylinderhead for my 2.0 Zetec blacktop the following question.
Is there a difference between a cylinder head from 1.8 and 2.0.
Someone has told me that these heads are the same?????
Do you know a good address where I can go to get my head flowed

Not sure about the Blacktop but with the Silvertop the only difference between the 1.8 and 2 litre heads was the size of the combustion chamber. Same
valve sizes, same ports. Putting a 1.8 head on a 2 litre gave you a decent CR increase without the need to skim the head.
Cannot imagine that Ford would reinvent the wheel for the Blacktop.
But please remember that Silvertop and Blacktops heads are not interchangeable. The location of the cam belt pulleys is totally different.
For porting try Scholar Engines on 01449 767711. They were way cheaper than the other major Zetec players and they actually have far more
experience.

If you need a Zetec head porting, speak to Andy Weston of Cylinder Head Developments.....
