I'm on with that now , a neighbour said she saw a scrap metal van drive down the private lane along the back of the house so I'm guessing its them

Good shout, and keep an eye out, you might even see them again looking for stuff, but from previous experience of the dreaded "scrap van" I doubt you will see your wheels again also keep an eye out on ebay and other sites, we had a few stihl saws stolen from our works yard and the people responsible were stupid enough to list them on ebay the next day, ended up with us managing to get them back!!

Fingers crossed you have some luck with them mate.

Matt

Have a drive round the local scrap metal buyers and do it quickly! If it's the travelling scrap man who has taken the wheels, he'll be wanting to offload them asap.

Supprised if they get scrapped. The scum may know how much the rubber is worth and what car they fit.

My money would be on it being someone who knew where and what they are....

I doubt the travelling tatters would go to such trouble, and then have to take tyres off to weigh them in, plus the scrap buyers would be reluctant to take them, a full set and a half of wheels is a bit suspicious.

Feel for you, I hope you track the scrotes down and can arrange to meet them one by one somewhere dark and remote!!!!

Hello
Sorry to hear the theives have been taking your wheels, it would be excellent if you managed to track them down and get them returned plus seeing the scum being dealt with. I have a Pug 205GTi up for sale with 4 complete sets of wheels and tyres (had them all for 18 months and certainly not stolen by the way) however if you need a set of wheels and tyres to get you going let me know ( 3 sets in the sale won't make much difference!) I am a bit far from you but feel free to call and get them if you need a set. I work away but can sort out someone to let you into the garage. Hope that helps a bit
Joe

Yeah they were plus two of the wheels with road tyres on that I had taken off while uprating the rear brakes
