could someone who has fitted a redtop in a roadster tell me how far back to fitt it thanks

Maybe stating the obvious but the answer is as far as you can!

That would depend on your bell housing.

I've got both so can take accurate measures if your using an alloy bell housing.

using alloy bell housing so will take your advice and get engine back as far as i can ta

The thing that hits first is the starter bulge on the alloy housing.

The block already has 3 mounting holes either side that conveniently match up with the chassis mount position

just spent all day trying to position engine think ive finnally got it right .but considering converting to a hydraulic now
