Which quick release steering wheel boss??

I'm looking at upgrading my quick release steering wheel boss. I currently have a £50 eBay job, but from day dot it's had some play in it. Even tho in the description it claimed zero play!!

Can anyone recommend/suggest a quick release boss that has zero play in. Iv seen the more expensive one about that also claim zero play, but just wanted to hear from someone that actually can recommend one.

Cheers

We also had a cheap one and upgraded to a race parts one. Much better and well worth the money, the lifeline ones are also very good too.

or : ebay linky

Unfortunately they don't make these any more, no play what so ever and it locks on with a key, preventing any accidental removal.

rally design will make one to your needs just give them a call.

or any engerneerring firm can do this as its just a plate that has 100mm pdc and 70mm to the pattern of your chosen wheel.

Afraid not Daz You would have to fit one of these: eBay Item, the QR and a new wheel.

YES NRG do them its what I have (the 2.5 and the quick lock system, good bit of kit and zero play in the wheel)

as long as you get the correct one for the wheel/quick release you buy and the hub you have then yes, as previously said if you call rally design then tell them you want an adaptor making to go prom 6x100 classic pdc to 6x70 sparco/omp pdc (or the tiny 3x40 pdc racing style if that's what you want) they can make one for you. The other option is to fit a new hub/boss if you know what colom was used in the build.
