http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Pressure_Relief_Remote_Thermostat

The other key advantage is basically to reduce the thermal shock the engine sees when the thermostat opens. This reduces the risk of head gasket failure hence why Land Rover themselves adopted this part/system on the K-series-engned Freelanders...

You could fit it to any engine though, I was considering using it with a V8 I have but in the end have decided not to run a thermostat as it's a track-only car...

cheers

did you replace the disks or just the pads 100 miles ago? The disks look like they are MMC check them with a magnet. If they are MMC some one on seloc will been keen to get hold of them.

Koni dampers & Eibach springs

S1 Elise Koni Dampers with Eibach springs. Fully functional but could maybe do with the springs removing and repainting/powdercoating for a cosmetic tidy up. If it was me I'd fit new bumpstops at the same time but apart from that they are ready to go back on! No leaks from any of the dampers, no cracks on the springs. These were purchased as a full car set and have an August 2009 manufacture date. Estimate 4 years and 20,000 miles on them.

£110 for the set collected from LE10 or plus £12 for UK postage

Steering wheel.

Standard factory Elise wheel. 310mm outer diameter. Nice and lightweight. No boss or horn centre button included but steel base section looks easy to mount off for a locost project. Centre section is removable.

Anti Roll Bar clamping mounts.

2x Elise front anti roll bar clamps. These are nice extruded aluminium pieces that would be ideal for a Seven build (front or rear). You could use the standard Elise bushes and have your own bar fabricated to suit.

I believe they are getting pretty rare now so I will be taking offers on this for a few days before I set a price! Post here or U2U me.
