Front Number Plate Fixing
Assuming that I want a legal one, what method have people used to fix their front number plate to the nose cone?
Is it just a case of a couple of plastic number plate bolts straight through the lower edge of the nose cone or is it best to do something else to
prevent the fibre glass from cracking if I catch the number plate on something?

I made a couple of brackets as the Avon doesn't have a flat edge for the plate, then fixed it on with self adhesive Velcro!
Hasn't fell off yet and easy to take of to get to nosecone fixing bolts.

I simply used industrial (thick) velcro, track days and many road miles with no issues.

I used a couple of bits of flat ally bent to fit the angle of the nose cone.

I got a piece of rubber hose and cut one end straight and the other end at 45 degrees and then used that to butt against the nose cone.
This way I could fix the plate at the bottom of the nose cone where it was angled towards the floor but the plate was 90 Degrees to the road.
On my other car I just used number plate tape along the top edge - no cracks there.
