pinto engine mount arms

hi all new to site and this is my first post, of which i guess will be many. i'm currently building a haynes roadster, by the book so to speak. i have a 2ltr pinto engine to go into my chassis, which i've stripped down to the block to help with alinging the engine mount brackets. now this leads me to my question. when i fitted the engine mount arms to the block, everything came from the same mk1 sierra car, i noticed that the mounts dont line up on the chassis and that the arms are of different lengths. should that be the case or have i missed something. thanks for any advice

Hi Dan, and welcome..

are you trying to use the standard pinto engine mounts?
if so thats your problem, you need kit car specific mounts....

hope this helps
