Quaife ATB or Sierra Viscous

I'm arranging for a LSD to be put together for a mainly road-going BEC.

Is a Quaife ATB really worth the extra expense over a standard Sierra viscous LSD?

Don't see any need for atb for the road. My Sierra one is fine

I get about 3 years out of my sierra ones and cant complain about that , and in my car they way i drive it ill put another one in when this one fails.
For a normal kit car i would go with the standard sierra lsd every time

The Sierra viscous is good enough for the road that's for sure, if the Sierra Cosworth that is heavier and ran 232 bhp found it useful
I have an ATB ready to fit but I picked that up for £300

Are you going to use the cosworth crown wheel and pinion or going for a taller 3.38'or a 3.14

A 3.9 or a 3.6 will be way to revy for a BEC

That was my logic... unless I could be convinced otherwise!
