See you in 40 days...
Driving to work this morning, there was a nice lady on the radio talking about Lent. This got me thinking. I'm not at all religious but after
completing "dry-January" and having significantly changed my drinking habits as a result, I do seem to have developed an interest in my
own will-power. Hence, as someone who will check this forum at least three times a day, I think it'll be interesting to see how I
'cope' without it for a while.
So, good luck with the builds. I expect to see progress when I return. I'd like to think that I've used some of the saved time on my own
but we'll see about that.
Is anyone else giving anything up? Obviously I won't read your replies for a while so do please talk amongst yourselves.
Cheers,

Im giving up smoking...
But I don't do things by half, so 40 days isnt enough - so far i've managed 36 years without touching one.
Makes the choice of what to give up every year very easy.

I gave up breakfast, cakes and biscuits last year for lent and lost 7.5kg. I've put 1/2 of it back on since but I'm back on the waggon as
of midnight. Just missed my first bacon and egg butty... having bad guts as a result of too many pancakes helps.

I gave up shagging my secretary as a New Years resolution.
And you lot think giving up smoking and chocolate is difficult?

I bet he just logs outs out and comes on as a guest!
Giving up is mostly cheating people into thinking you have done something and then convincing yourself you tried your best.
I dont bother, then I dont feel let down!!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
